Super Smash Bros. Melee - Falco Lombardi VS 15 Minute Melee
Welcome to the 15 Minute Melee project. Here, I will make videos of doing 15 Minute Melee with various characters under certain conditions. Yep, an accomplishment that you certainly couldn't expect from people like the Hyphy Movement, the Uni-Mind including trolls, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock me, and the Oakland rioters. The purpose of this project is to help players learn skills that could help in dealing with Meta Knight in Brawl, who abuses the Glass Cannon metagames that have dubious at best standards.
Now the conditions are no Screw Attack abuse, B button usage is limited purely to recovery, no (intentional) airdodging or glitch abuse, and getting as many KOs as feasible.
Anybody who wishes to contribute may vote for which 3 characters they'd want me to do next. Please keep in mind that I will not prioritize purely on vote count whatsoever, but don't be afraid to vote for your favorite character(s). Also, any characters I have recorded for (and will not redo, because I'll redo everybody else I already have besides Mewtwo) will not be counted, but you may revote for other characters. Lastly, if you vote for Zelda, it will be considered a vote for Shiek, whose KO potential I consider lower.
Falco's stats:
*Classification: Frail Sniper
*Specialty: ace combat
*Smash bonus: power and range
*Notes: most aerials can't KO, speed KO problems, but back and up throws fire blaster shots that KO in general, albeit slowly
Fox did have speed KO problems, but at least he could move fast and get off the moves required for speed KOs better. Falco has no such luxury, unless you can somehow control his high jump, which seeing as SSB has no midhopping for some stupid reason is unlikely. In order to get a decent KO count, you have to use Falco's throws. Forward Throw has a splash attack upon throw, but more importantly, Back and Up Throws fire blaster shots that generally KO the Wireframes. Granted, the blaster shot KOs are slow, but you still KO the caught Wireframes often nevertheless.
B Moves: Falco Phantasm (Side B) and Reflector (Down B) are what you want to use to get KOs. Don't bother with Blaster (Neutral B), which can't KO, and don't expect results from Fire Bird (Up B), which is basically Fox's Fire Fox with no chargeup protection and also with short recovery range.
