Super Smash Bros. Melee - Mewtwo VS 15 Minute Melee (redo)
Welcome to the 15 Minute Melee project. Here, I will make videos of doing 15 Minute Melee with various characters under certain conditions. Yep, an accomplishment that you certainly couldn't expect from people like the Hyphy Movement, the Uni-Mind including trolls, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock me, and the Oakland rioters. The purpose of this project is to help players learn skills that could help in dealing with Meta Knight in Brawl, who abuses the Glass Cannon metagames that have dubious at best standards.
Now the conditions are no Screw Attack abuse, B button usage is limited purely to recovery, no (intentional) airdodging or glitch abuse, and getting as many KOs as feasible.
Anybody who wishes to contribute may vote for which 3 characters they'd want me to do next. Please keep in mind that I will not prioritize purely on vote count whatsoever, but don't be afraid to vote for your favorite character(s). Also, any characters I have recorded for (and will not redo, because I'll redo everybody else I already have besides Mewtwo) will not be counted, but you may revote for other characters. Lastly, if you vote for Zelda, it will be considered a vote for Shiek, whose KO potential I consider lower.
Mewtwo's stats:
*Classification: Squishy Wizard
*Specialty: traps
*Smash bonus: magic attack
*Notes: most non-laggy KO attacks KO slowly, Up Tilt is not entirely reliable at KOing
Oh God, Mewtwo, what were they thinking with you?
Well, Mewtwo does have a back covering move: the Up Tilt. Which also KOs anybody 1 platform above. Thing is, you need to rely on the Up Tilt and Down Tilt to get a good KO count. Throws are slow, Neutral Air KOs slowly, and Forward Air has painfully bad range when Back Air (which the game can think you try to input for) can't KO at all. Smashes and the dash attack do at least KO, but getting them off without messing up is a chore too.
Don't be fooled by the KO count. Getting Mewtwo down very well here is a pain. And it has Fake Difficulty problems.
B Moves: unfortunately, Mewtwo's KO count is not going to be helped by B moves whatsoever. Disable (Down B) and Confusion (Side B) are not even useful in general. Shadow Ball (Neutral B) can't KO without chargeup. And Teleport can't even be used for any form of attack, just evasion and recovery.
