In this battle, I get put up against a very good Link player, and on a stage like Hyrule Castle, it isn't best suited for 1-on-1 fights, but at least I put Hero to good use.
I usually would try to get Bounce through the Command Selection, specially if it is an opponent that likes to use projectiles, like Link's Bow, so that way Hero can reflect the projectiles back. I get that Hero is one of the most overpowered characters in the game, but I feel that he is a luck-based character, because of how random Command Selection is, and the MP mechanic, it is easy to refill if you can get in some damage with Hero's regular attacks, but I just find Hero to be a character that requires luck to be good with him, I'm kind of against the ban of Hero in tournaments, because it's not about the character, it's how good players are with that character, and I know Smash Tournaments have some of the best players in the game, but it depends on how well they do with those characters.
