To tie in with Pokémon's 25th Anniversary, we get a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Online Tourney which only allows Pokémon characters, we did have a similar-like Online Tourney around the release of Pokémon Sword & Shield, where only Pokémon characters and stages can appear, but this time there are some differences, Poké Balls and Master Balls are the only items that can appear, aside from the Smash Ball, that is.
Here are the following characters that can be selected for this Tourney:
Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Pichu, Mewtwo, Pokémon Trainer, Lucario, Greninja, Incineroar
Then we have the following stages that can appear in this Tourney:
Saffron City, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Stadium 2, Spear Pillar, Unova Pokémon League, Prism Tower, Kalos Pokémon League
Now onto the items that can appear in this Tourney:
Smash Ball, Poké Ball, Master Ball

Like the Pokémon Sword & Shield tie-in tournament, this one has the same characters and stages, but the only difference is that Poké Balls and Master Balls are the only items turned on, as well as the Smash Ball, and items are set to high so you can take advantage of Poké Balls during the Online Tourney.
This is a time battle that is 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and Final Smash Meter is turned on, and participating in this Online Tourney will earn you a Spirit from the Pokémon series.
The last Pokémon-themed Online Tourney, I used Lucario, but in this one, I decided to use Pikachu for this one, and this is my second time playing this Online Tourney, because there was lag when I first participated in this Online Tourney, because when the match was counting down, it lagged really hard, and the match didn't start until 2 minutes. I do see there are a bunch of players using Pikachu in this Online Tourney, two using Mewtwo for each bracket, and my bracket had one player using Incineroar, while the other has another player using Lucario, and in the previous attempt, I got Pokémon Stadium as the first stage, and Pokémon Stadium 2 as the second stage, and the Main Theme from Pokémon Red & Blue from Melee played in both of these fights, so there was no music variety.
In this video, the stages that appeared were Kalos Pokémon League and Pokémon Stadium, I remember the last Pokémon Online Tourney, Kalos Pokémon League appeared in that video as well, as I do like that stage, and with Poké Balls and Master Balls being the most frequent item in this Online Tourney, it is a fight to see who can make the best use of the Pokémon and win the Online Tourney.
