The final Spirit Board event out of the four announced for 2024, and this one features two games in the Super Mario series, one of them is Princess Peach: Showtime!, which came out recently around the time the event happened, and is the first game to have Peach as the main character since Super Princess Peach which released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS, and the other is Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the most recent game in the Super Mario Bros. series which came out in 2023.
Then to explain about the new Spirits, the first one is Peach & Stella, and as expected, Peach is the character used for this Spirit battle, while a tiny Yellow Kirby is used for Stella, Peach's companion in the game, the stage is Luigi's Mansion, and during this battle, Peach will be using her up smash attacks. Three Assist Trophies appear during the battle, and in order, it is Lyn from Fire Emblem, then Chef Kawasaki from the Kirby series, and Akira from Virtua Fighter, those are meant to be a reference to Peach's transformations in Princess Peach: Showtime!. This is a Legend Class Spirit of the Grab type, and it increases Jump.
Next is Elephant Mario, which is a power-up in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the stage is Fountain of Dreams, and you fight against a Giant Mario that has super armour, and he uses FLUDD in most of the fight, which could be a reference to how Elephant Mario can store water, and it is an Ace Class Spirit of the Shield type. It is a Support Spirit with Slow Super Armor, which decreases movement speed, but makes the character harder to launch.
The next one is Swordfighter Peach, this is one of Peach's transformations in Princess Peach: Showtime!, and the character used for this one is Lucina, and it is a Stamina Battle on Hyrule Castle with hazards turned off, and the only items that appear are swords, those are items like the Beam Sword and Killing Edge, and Lucina has 140 HP in that battle. Swordfighter Peach is an Advanced Class Spirit of the Attack type, and the effect is Sword Attack ↑, this increases the power of sword attacks.
Last up is Wonder Flower & Talking Flowers, those are from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and in that battle, you take on 21 tiny Kirbys on Mushroom Kingdom U, one blue while the rest are yellow, the Blue Kirby is the Wonder Flower, the Fire Flower is the only item to appear and Skull Kid is the only Assist Trophy to appear, referencing the Wonder Effects that can happen. The Yellow Kirbys will taunt, this is based on the Talking Flowers that talk to players when approached. This Spirit is a Novice Class Spirit of the Neutral Type, and it is a Support Spirit that equips the user with a Fire Flower at the start of the battle.
With the last of the Spirits, and we at least get one based around Super Mario Bros. Wonder, as well as some from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, and many others that have released in the time between the last DLC update and the first of the four Spirit Board events for this year, but for games that didn't get any Spirits that released in 2022 and 2023, like Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Fire Emblem Engage, Mario Strikers Battle League, and a few other games, don't know when we will see another new update for this game.
