The third of the friends of Paldea, and the last one we can invite as the next ones will be those that appear in the League Club Room at random. The next League Club Coach is Penny, who we helped out during Starfall Street where we took on the Team Star Bosses and eventually took down the true leader of Team Star. For Penny's interactions, she can interact with Clavell, Tyme, Geeta, Nemona, Arven, Lacey, Carmine, and Kieran.
Then to go over Penny's team, and it is the Eeveelution team that she had back when we fought her at the end of Starfall Street, and she does use that battle theme from that point in the game, and she has no new additions to her team.
Umbreon: Dark Pulse, Quick Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, Psychic
Vaporeon: Hydro Pump, Quick Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, Aurora Beam
Jolteon: Thunder, Quick Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, Pin Missile
Flareon: Flare Blitz, Quick Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, Fire Spin
Leafeon: Leaf Blade, Quick Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, X-Scissor
Sylveon: Moonblast, Quick Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, Shadow Ball

If there was one thing to go over with Penny's team, all of her Pokémon know Quick Attack and Baby-Doll Eyes, which are kind of basic moves to have, but her team has at least one STAB move and one coverage move. Penny isn't really that hard of an opponent, but as her Pokémon know Baby-Doll Eyes, that can lower your Pokémon's Attack, and her Umbreon lead can take hits very well. The Gen 1 Eeveelutions don't have the best coverage moves to pair with their very powerful STAB moves, Vaporeon with Aurora Beam instead of Ice Beam, Jolteon has Pin Missile, a physical attack with low base power which hits from 2 to 5 times instead of a better option like Shadow Ball, Flareon has a second Fire-type move in Fire Spin, Leafeon isn't that bad as it does have X-Scissor and Leaf Blade which are good moves to have on it. Penny's last Pokémon is Sylveon, which she Terastallizes to a Fairy Tera Type, increasing the power of Moonblast, if you don't have a good counter, Sylveon can deal a lot of damage with Moonblast, and it has very high Special Defense.
After the battle, Penny gives you 20 Smiling Vee Picks, a pick designed around Eevee, and on your third interaction, she trades you an Eevee, because what other Pokémon would she trade you if she had a team full of Pokémon that evolve from Eevee. To go over the Eevee, it has a Partner Ribbon, giving it the title "Penny's Eevee", and it comes with Curse and it has a Dark Tera Type, which goes well with Bite, which Eevee does learn through level up, and Tera Blast when it evolves. While the Dark Tera Type is good with Umbreon, it is not really meant to be about attacking when it is the more defensive out of Eevee's evolved forms. It does have a Modest Nature, making it best for anyone other than Flareon or Leafeon, and as this is Eevee, it has many different forms to evolve into.
