Gameplay of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition at 1920x1080 (fullscreen) on Ubuntu 12.10 64Bit with High graphics settings, using Wine through CrossOver 12.1.

SF4AE is being run through a CrossOver bottle that has .NET 3.5 SP1 crosstie installed in it. I tried very hard for the past several days to get .NET 3.5 to install in normal Wine and POL, but it would keep crashing. So I finally tried CrossOver, and it works beautifully.

The game works great! All cutscenes work well, saving works. The game honestly feels native, except for the fact that I can't play online. I'm able to max out the graphics and put them low, it all works.

I did need a Keyboard Hot Fix initially though, since I have to use a crack for my retail version. This is NOT the Steam version of the game, since it's region locked in my country.

Just extract the files into Capcom/Super Street Fighter IV/
Now when you run the game, you should be able to use the Keyboard no problem.

It probably works with my 360 controller, but I completely forgot to test it. Sorry about that.

Performance is great, and it's even better when I'm not recording the screen. If you have this game, you should have no problem getting it to run in CrossOver 12.1! Just make sure to install the .NET 3.5 first, and you may need Skidrows crack sadly.

I had to disable "Unredirect Fullscreen" in Compiz Config Settings Manager to record this game, otherwise the recording would flicker.
