Day Of Defeat Gameplay on Ubuntu Linux (Native)
Gameplay of Day Of Defeat at 1920x1080 (fullscreen) on Ubuntu 12.10 64Bit with max graphics settings (native).
This is the old Day Of Defeat, from the early millenium (2000). It runs off the GoldSrc engine like Half Life and CS. It was released earlier today, and it works pretty good! It's still in Beta, but I'd say it's fully functional!
You might want to skip to 3:10 in the video, if all you're interested in is seeing a match being played. The frames per second is at 72.5 since that's what HL keeps the max fps at. Vsync is disabled.
I had to disable "Unredirect Fullscreen" in Compiz Config Settings Manager to record this game, otherwise the recording would flicker. No performance loss though, so it's all good.
