Gameplay of Total War: SHOGUN 2 at 1920x1080 (fullscreen) on Ubuntu 12.10 64Bit with Ultra graphics settings, using Wine through CrossOver 12.1.

SHOGUN 2 is being run through a clean CrossOver bottle with just .NET 3.5 installed. SHOGUN 2 works perfectly! Everything works, from the storyline campaign to multiplayer, and all of this on max graphical settings. The only downsides are that you can't use DirectX11 and AA is restricted to MLAA (no idea why). One last issue is that the game warns me that it's not an original copy, but my copy is original and it's being run through my Steam account. This doesn't hamper gameplay at all though, so it's all fine.

SHOGUN 2 is very resource heavy on hardware, so only buy this game if you know your computer has the hardware to handle it. It's a fun strategy game, but a bit too serious for my tastes.

Performance is great, and it's even better when I'm not recording the screen. If you have this game, you should have no problem getting it to run in CrossOver 12.1! I have nearly all the SHOGUN 2 dlcs, except the Otomo clan. Everything works.

I had to disable "Unredirect Fullscreen" in Compiz Config Settings Manager to record this game, otherwise the recording would flicker.
