Gameplay of Homefront at 1920x1080 (fullscreen) on Ubuntu 12.10 64Bit with Very High graphics settings, using Wine through PlayOnLinux.

Homefront (Steam version) is being run through a clean Wineprefix (1.5.22) in this video. Besides passing the no-dwrite argument to POL, I haven't done anything else.

The game is playable, and all effects are present. The stutter and every couple of seconds momentary hang kind of suck real bad. Since THQ is now dead, this is the second game I've successfully got running in Wine properly from them.

Performance wise, it's not the best. FPS stays around 20-25, which for this card is not great. It could be due to the 304 drivers I'm using, and upgrading to the 313 might yield slightly better performance.

I had to disable "Unredirect Fullscreen" in Compiz Config Settings Manager to record this game, otherwise the recording would flicker.
