Gameplay of Dungeon Defenders at 1920x1080 (fullscreen) on Ubuntu 12.10 64Bit with max graphics settings (native).

It seems earlier today that Dungeon Defenders was officially released for Steam Linux. In this video I do a bit of gameplay to see how it performs compared to the initial port.

DD is now able to go fullscreen and it captures the mouse properly! This is great, because it means DD is now playable on Ubuntu/Linux. There is still one rather annoying bug still present though. The Mana thats dropped should float towards your player character. Instead, it just sits there static. I hope they fix this later on.

The reason I can't play Online is because I got myself banned. Back when the game was released I played it like crazy. Then when watching youtube videos, I saw that editing items was possible and it looked cool. It's my fault for not checking whether this was actually allowed or not. Word of advice from me, don't edit your items!

I can still play locally, so it's not a complete loss. I do miss playing with other people, but then a majority of my 300+ hours of gameplay were soloing maps for fun. So, it's all good. I believe locally you can still play with close friends, but I could be wrong.

I had to disable "Unredirect Fullscreen" in Compiz Config Settings Manager to record this game, otherwise the recording would flicker.
