Super Street Fighter II X [Arcade] - OLD Dee Jay
This is a play-through using "Old" Dee Jay (the previous SSFII version of him) in the Arcade version of Super Street Fighter II X: Grand Master Challenge. Read on below for more information...
Old/SSFII Dee Jay is a another version of the regular Dee Jay. He is a hidden playable character.
NOTE: 2 continues used. 1 cut out to save time and to reduce video file size.
===== HOW TO SELECT OLD/SSFII DEE JAY =====
On the character select screen, select Dee Jay with any button, and immediately input Down, Down, Up, Up and then press LP or LP + LK.
If you've done it correctly you'll hear Dee Jay's voice and his portrait colours will change into his original ones.

Key: QCF = Quarter Circle Forward; QCB = Quarter Circle Back; DP = Dragon Punch motion (F,D,DF)
THROWS:
-- Funky Shout Throw: when close, F + MP/HP or B + MP/HP

===== OLD/SSFII DEE JAY DIFFERENCES =====
As this is the old SSFII version of him, it means that he does not the Super Combo gauge, which of course means that he does not have the Sobat Carnival. Regarding special moves, he also doesn't have Jackknife Maximum.
Another difference is that he does not have the Amazon River Run command normal (the slide).
===== ABOUT DEE JAY =====
In Super Street Fighter II, Dee Jay, already being a music sensation, enters the second World Warrior tournament to find some new rhythm for his next album. It is unknown on how far he reaches in the tournament, but he manages to be inspired and finds the rhythm he seeks. He incorporates this into his new record and it becomes a smash hit.

---- Old Dee Jay has two colour palettes. The first is the original World Warrior colours; and the second are unique colours that is specially made for Old Dee Jay.
---- The second unique colour palette is made specially for SSFIIX/SSF2T.
---- There is no instance in the game where the CPU is in control of Old Dee Jay.
---- The choice of the word "MAXIMUM" appearing vertically down the side of his trousers allows his in-game sprites to be flipped/mirrored without the word getting distorted, as all of its letters are symmetrical. The same goes for other media of him, such as artwork, portraits, etc.
---- In Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, in Makoto's ending, he makes a cameo appearance among the fighters defeated by Makoto.
---- He has a kickboxing manager by the name of Rick.
---- In Street Fighter II V Retsuden, his name is given as Donald Jackson.
---- He shares his birthday with Jessica Haggar of Final Fight.
