This is a playthrough using Mizuki Rashojin in the Arcade version of Samurai Shodown 2. Read on below for more information...

Mizuki is the end boss of the game, and she is a non-selectable character in both the Neo-Geo MVS and AES versions of it.

===== USING DEBUG DIPS TO PLAY AS HER INDIRECTLY =====

This will require a m0dded BIOs that allows the user to access the Debug Dipswitches. There is apparently a Dipswitch where if Dips 1-5 is set, it allows for a human player to control the CPU character... which means that if you get to CPU Mizuki, you can use this setting to control her. I cannot confirm this though.

If it works, then this would be the only way to play as her on the actual Neo-Geo hardware, because there does not seem to be a Dipswitch setting that allows you to select her.

===== OTHER INFORMATION / TRIVIA =====

---- Despite being an unplayable character, she can appear and operate on the character select screen. She even has her voice when confirmed selection. Her cursor is off-screen though.

---- In a mirror match, on the character select screen, the "second colour" pallette of her portrait image is glitched colours. You can see this at 33:17.

---- In a mirror match, despite her portrait image being glitched colours, in gameplay however she has the original intact colours.

---- She does not have a Doll Transformation move.

---- Her weapon cannot be broken.

---- Her basic Hop move glitches where she just disappears and reappears. This indicates that the CPU Mizuki is not programmed to use this move.

---- When performing a basic Roll, it is just a still sprite meaning that it looks like she is sliding. This indicates that the CPU Mizuki is not programmed to use this move.

---- Her basic Lie Down move has her disappear and reappear, with only her ground aura seen. You cannot hold this move which indicates that she is not meant to use this move.

---- Her second Taunt is glitched where she disappears and reappears.

---- There are some graphic and text glitches in some cutscenes, as well as wrong graphics and sounds, as she is not meant to be selected. You can see an example of this starting around 20:19.

---- There may be some colour glitches on some of her text on the winning screen sometimes.

---- In the cutscenes where your character is supposed to stand on the mountain rocks, she has no sprites for these scenes. Some of the dialogue in these scenes is also wrong.

---- When reaching CPU Mizuki at the end of the game for the mirror match, CPU Mizuki's pre-fight dialogue to you is incorrect with slight glitches.

---- In a mirror match, when her Beast Spell is inflicted on her, there is no "animal" sprite visible. Also cannot be hit.

---- The 1P mode can be completed with her.

---- If you beat the game with her, you will get Haohmaru's ending.

---- She can appear and operate perfectly on the Continue, Game Over and Ranking screen. You can see this within the Bonus footage near the end of this video (see Chapters section below in this description).

---- She cannot be "fatality'd".

---- In her next appearance in the series, Samurai Shodown 5 Special, her gameplay sprites have been completely redrawn. The "evil Poppy" colour swap sidekick is not by her side anymore, instead Maju (the beast) now only appears in one of her special moves and one of her winning poses.

---- Her name "Rashojin" is translated as The Marauding Deity.
