351This week so many horror games are coming out and yesterday the first game dropped that was written and directed by none other than popular YouTuber Superhorrorbro. He has been working on this game for a long time and the first chapter has finally been released for free!
It tells the tale of a woman who is trapped in a secret facility. A terrible accident occured and various entities that were locked up have now escaped. Together with our cute mascot helper we now have to find a way towards the elevators and escape. Along the way we will run into various entities, though not all of them are evil.
The game is cool and stylish with its cartoonish look. In terms of gameplay it plays it safe with familiar territory, but its better to do that than be overly ambitious and have gameplay that does not work. The real highlight are the three monsters you run into and how different they are. The best one is definitely Celeste as she is fully voiced and actually helpful as she sells you various items.
It makes me excited to find out which other entities are actually friendly as so many mascot horror games only focus on evil mascots. Its great to sometimes befriend one and have a moment of rest or relaxation in between. I hope to see a bit more variety in enviroments if we ever get a chapter 2 and I think enough questions have been set up to make this a very cool world and setting to explore.
