Syphon Filter 2 Walkthrough Part 14: Agency Bio-Lab
0With Lian having slipped into a coma due to Syphon Filter in her body entering its terminal stage, Gabe, Teressa and Mujari establish a contact with The Agency in order to supposedly barter for a cure using PharCom's research data. To that end, Gabe calls Lyle Stevens, new director of The Agency who replaced recently deceased Thomas Markinson and offers him an deal; Stevens would hand over an vaccine to cure Lian of her infection and in exchange, Gabe would hand him over PharCom's research data discs with Gabe also demanding that the place of exchange be an Agency-run underground research complex located below the streets of Lower East Side, New York City. After Stevens agrees to the exchange, Gabe, aware that The Agency won't keep up its end of the bargain and will likely take him prisoner as soon as he enters the facility, asks for an easily concealable weapon to use in case of an emergency with Mujari providing him with a tooth implant filled with a poisonous gas that can be used to incapacitate the target by breathing on them once the compound within the implant is activated. Despite Gabe fearing for her safety, Teressa chooses to accompany him to New York City as an backup.
That evening, Teressa and Gabe land in New York City with Gabe being taken to the underground laboratory complex by The Agency's operatives. As he enters, Gabe is met by Stevens and The Agency's chief researcher Elsa Weissinger. True to Gabe's prediction, two double-cross him as he is held down while Weissinger forcefully injects him with an unknown substance that quickly knocks him out. Soon, Gabe wakes up within an examination room deep in the laboratory complex and upon using his tooth implant to kill an researcher observing him, steals his uniform and proceeds to make his way through the sprawling underground complex patrolled by heavily armed Agency operatives which he is forced to avoid and/or eliminate, his primary goal being to find a way into the complex's synthensizing laboratory in order to secure a dose of vaccine for Lian. Along the way, Gabe discovers that Ramirez and Chance, two CBDC soldiers who survived The Agency's ambush in Colorado mountains were captured and became the organization's prisoners and test subjects. After eventually managing to infiltrate the synthensizing laboratory through its ventilation, Gabe confronts Weissinger at gunpoint and demands a vaccine for Lian which she hands over moments before triggering the alarm and running off. With the entire facility being placed on lockdown and Agency's heavily armored elite troops converging inside in order to hunt Gabe down, he is forced to run for his life back towards the facility's elevator leading back to the surface. Along the way, he discovers Ramirez dead and Chance unaccounted for...
