Taking notes on elementary OS - Switcher's guide to elementary OS - part 15
In this one, we'll take a look at some note-taking apps for elementary OS. Some of these are not elementary OS-specific, but all look good on elementary OS, and cover all needs, from the most basic sticky note, to the notebook and markdown applications.
We start with Notes Up, my favorite, where I write all my video scripts. We then move on to DayJournal, a journaling application, and to P.S. Notes, a great elementary OS note-taking app. For those who only need sticky notes reminders, NoteJot is fantastic and looks great.
Evernote users will appreciate Tusk, a wrapper for the Evernote website with some nice features added, such as a dark mode or keyboard shortcuts. We complete the tour with Notes, the standard GNOME note-taking app, and Tomboy, an old one but a great one, with wiki-like and note-linking capabilites;
Some of these apps have a default price, but as all apps on elementary OS, you can download them for free, and come back to reward the developer if you feel like it !
