"I wonder if I should have hired him as an advisor...rather than bringing him in as a consort." - Latil Tarium, about Tasir.

You know, I remember seeing a quote that compares intelligence to the "ultimate aphrodisiac" once. I never understood the full meaning of it until I came across a character like sir Tasir. While he’s not conventionally attractive like the other consorts, his mischief and cleverness draws you in. It was a slow-but-sure process for me. I didn’t think much about his appearances on my first impression of him, but holy heck, once you fall in love with this man– there is quite literally no escape. His charm and shrewdness holds onto you like a viper.

And yeah, Ngl, I actually didn't like any of the men (nor the protagonist herself) when I first started this series. As the story progresses, though, I ended up finding everyone interesting, most especially Tasir. Many readers may root for the sincere Sir Sonnaught or sympathise and cheer for the passionate (yet adorkable) Klein, but I like to think Tasir as the perfect equal for Latil. Not necessarily in a romantic sense, but in characters, values, and moral compasses. Latil stands for what's right, but tends to carry out her deeds in savage and strategic manners (ex: the execution of Thula). She is also someone who possessed the tact and acumen of a leader. Likewise, Tasir's exquisite nature lies in his intelligence and foxiness. Though appearing vain, proud and idle, he is a wonderful manipulator, who can easily manoeuvre through the world of politics and economy, read people like books, and has proven his capability to help Latil in many instances. I think if we were to put romantic sentiments aside, they have great chemistry as partners in crime. And although the chance is very slim, I obviously wouldn't mind if she ended up with him. I just think that there's already something special in the current relationship that they had. It's akin to more of a playful friends/allies dynamic than an actual couple, and I sort of hope it stays that way.

Ofc, I also hope Latil's words come true towards the end of the series. I would love to see Tasir work as her advisor - he would be her very own Sherlock Holmes, Moriarty, or perhaps Algernon Montcrieff.

Also… I must say I am quite jealous of Tasir's sense of fashion lmao. He dresses lavishly, but his clothes never come across as ugly nor messy. In fact, they fit with the colour scheme of some of the manhwa’s panels, and complement his personality extremely well. What can I say, I'm a respectful simp for this man xDD he might be a dick at times, but he is a really cool, efficient, and entertaining one.
