The first level in Turtles In Time Arcade Game takes place in The Big Apple. Hordes of the usual Foot Soldiers abound as well as some evil wrecking balls, robots, and assorted other enemies that desire turtle soup for lunch. This level is much shorter than the corresponding version in the console copy for the SNES, much like the other levels in this and in the original arcade game with its' NES counterpart.
Partway through the level watch out for Krang's robot body and his eye lasers as he pops up repeatedly in order to zap the turtles. After making it past Krang then Baxter Stockman shows up, this time in fly form, and he needs a quick kick to the face to drop him. Watch out for his grabber gun and his other quick-moving attacks in order to swat him like the fly he is.
