This is it finally: the REAL future! Obviously in retrospect, the last level being set in 2020 was a bit much for 29 years in the future but this scene, "Starbase - Where No Turtle Has Gone Before-" is another 78 years in the future from now, so who knows? It may be accurate or it may just as much as a disappointment as 2015 was for Back To The Future fans.

Regardless, the level starts with some unarmed orange Foot and some little robots that look kind of like a Roomba does today. Next up are some blues with katanas, a large number of white with nunchakus (why only one in the last level?), and then the start of the Rock Soldiers, armed with laser rifles. If this horde is defeated then a lone green Foot armed with a bow (really, a bow in 2100?) will arrive before a group of purple Foot teleport in to assault the turtles. These ones are followed by yellows with their demented frisbees, more white with nunchakus, and then the first of the automated defense robots. While fighting them purple Foot will teleport into the room and some blues with axes and then some more armed with katanas will wander onto the screen; all with the intent of having turtle soup for supper.

After surviving the first defenses the turtles will come across a section of floor which has hexagonal shapes in a pattern on it. Avoid the panel that glows blue or the turtle will become a turtlesicle that is standing on it. Paired with a throng of kunai-wielding orange Foot, this section can become quite a challenge for a lone turtle. Soon some Rock Soldiers that are unarmed join the fight as well as a group of white Foot and some yellow Foot. After them comes another hallway where the vast landscape of Mars can be seen outside as massive, steel balls bounce down the hallway trying to smash the turtles while somehow not squashing the blue Foot who inhabit the same hallway.

Some pink Foot with shuriken will soon arrive to impale the turtles as well as more yellow Foot and Rock Soldiers armed with flamethrowers. Is it just me or are there suddenly a bunch of enemies at once? Must be getting close to the end! After them there are a few more of the temporally-displaced green bowmen Foot, some purple Foot that slide out of doors in the wall, and then some laser traps that zap turtles from their hiding place in the wall. These traps also signal a whole slew of white Foot, yellow Foot with frisbees, then orange Foot with chains, and Rock Soldiers with bazookas before entering the final room. The turtles are then greeted by yellow Foot wielding bombs, Rock Soldiers with laser rifles, more yellow Foot with frisbess and then the final showdown with Krang while Shredder watches in the background.

This time around Krang flies in a strange, little UFO that drops bombs as well as the little Roomba robots. Dispatch the little guys quickly while avoiding the bombs and Krang will go down quickly. Once he does, the portal where Shredder's face had just been opens and the turtles announce that it is the way home. The Technodrome looms ahead for the final battle....
