After eight grueling levels of hordes of Foot Soldiers, Rock Soldiers, robots, and assorted other baddies, the final level takes place in 1991 and is named "Technodrome - The Final Shell-Shock - ." As is fitting after the hundreds of other enemies destroyed thus far, this level is a fight against none other than Shredder himself with no one else to interfere. This doesn't mean that it is easy though.

Shredder is one mean dude. He can teleport around, he wields a green katana, and has an attack that kill any turtle in one shot by turning them back into a baby turtle! If the turtles survive his brutal onslaught however, Shredder will fall off of the railing with a yell, his reign of terror ended yet again.

The Statue of Liberty, thus far only seen as the backdrop to the level's melee, is next seen being carried off by the Turtle Blimp to be returned to its rightful place as April reports live. Feel free to relax and listen to the music from the "Comin' Out Of Their Shells" tour as you watch the credits. You've earned it!
