Yes, Teleroboxer features all off these things and more.
Teleroboxer was developed internally by Nintendo R&D1 and was produced by Gunpei Yokoi (like the other good VB games were), and while it definitely is a familiar, quality game, don't mistake it for Punch Out - it's fairly different. Kind of like Super Mario Land was a different kind of Mario game - similar appearance and mechanics to the main series but still it felt quite different - so too does Teleroboxer fit the Punch Out mold.
It's all in first-person, and you use the controller's two D-pads to position your hands individually on-screen to block or to ready a punch, and the trigger buttons throw the punches. It's an odd-feeling control scheme at first (despite what it might seem, dual D-pads do not feel play like dual analog sticks), but it's quite effective at giving you a wide range of control and feels natural with a bit of practice.
Instead of star punches, you now have an unlimited supply of power hits. You charge the power hit by holding your hands in specific directions (the direction depends on the type of hit) and hit both triggers too set it off. The catch here is that you have to be careful with your timing. Charge at the wrong moment and you'll be left wide-open.
It's quite difficult, but much of the fun comes from the puzzle-like way you have to approach the fighters: it is one of the big similarities it shares with Little Mac's game. Figuring out the exact second to counter-attack or how to provoke the entry into making a move you can exploit are all key of you want to get to the last fighter.
I loved Teleroboxer, and it's absolutely one of my favorite GB titles. It's also one of the cheaper games to buy, so if you wanted to give the red headset a try, this might be a good starting point!
