I recently shared that the Nintendo Switch version of MLB The Show 2025 was currently on sale in the Nintendo Switch eShop. Available for under $25 digitally, I still wanted to see if I could find it on sale physically as well. I scoured the interwebs and didn't see it, so I went to Target to buy some eShop gift cards, but when I did I saw it on sale for only $31.49. I picked up a copy, then went down the road to grab an ONN SDXC Micro SD Card as I wanted to play this on the Switch 2. Then, when I got home, there was a package from CustomJerseysPro.com waiting for me. So it's time to go yard, as we get to testing this budget-friendly storage option on the Switch 2 with MLB The Show 25 while looking RoXolid in a new Custom Jersey.

Order a custom Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, or other jersey at https://www.customjerseyspro.com/, just like what I have here! You can even save 10% off your order with promo code RoXolid10

Since I'm playing on the new Nintendo Switch 2, I needed to pick up a new micro SDXC card. The game requires a separate memory card, so I finally got one of the 256GB ONN cards from Walmart. I really wanted the 512GB version, but they were never in stock, so I settled for the smaller one, at least for now. I was surprised it didn't come with an SD card adapter, but it's a simple plug-and-play process.

First, I had to update the system and make sure there was enough space. With 238GB free on the new micro SD Express card, I had plenty of room. After moving some data, I was ready to pop in the MLB The Show 25 game card and get to playing!

I love being able to play one of my favorite game franchises on the go. The graphics look a little better on the Switch 2, and playing baseball anywhere is a huge bonus. The Switch version doesn't really look any different to me on the Switch 2, and it's definitely a step down graphically from the PS5 or XBOX Series X or S.

I'm glad that I finally expanded my storage on my Switch 2, I just wish the Switch 2 came with more storage out of the box. Are you a fan of MLB The Show 25? Let me know in the comments below!
