Today me and the crew return to Empyrion - Galactic Survival, a persistent multiplayer survival game where instead of taming dinosaurs to keep as pets you build space ships and that I, given my preference for the title 'the hermit', play in offline single player mode. In this episode, I mainly run through the base building tutorial, if you can call the concrete slab with machines strapped to it that I end up with a base. It's not without its perils given the game's desire for planetary structures to be structurally sound, and the game's hatred for building anything below ground. Still, I manage to build something that meets the definition of a base even if the locals don't like it and want to take it for themselves. I also proceed with the next story mission, or at least I would if the enemies that I need to fight would bother to show up. Enjoy.
