Generating chaos - Halo: Combat Evolved Gameplay episode 7
Today me and the crew return to Halo: Combat Evolved, a game where you play as a cybernetically enhanced super soldier known as the Master Chief who, along with his other fellow super soldiers known as Spartans, serve as the front line in a war to prevent humanity's extinction at the hands of an intergalactic religious order known as the Covenant. In this episode, after having secured the fire control key for the Forerunner construct that we've been fighting on with the help of the AI monitor who is the caretaker for the Halo ring, we return to the Halo's control room to activate the Halo and destroy the omnipresent threat known as the Flood. Thankfully, we're stopped at the last minute by Cortana, the AI companion who has been fighting by our side since before we even landed on the ring. After hearing the truth about the Halo from both Cortana and the Monitor we seek to stop the ring's activation while simultaneously preventing the Flood from leaving and feeding upon the whole of the galaxy. The short term answer to our problems is to be the fourth side in three sided battle and temporarily disable the generators that power Halo's main weapon. The long term answer to our problems involves a bigger boom then all of the ordinance that we can strap to the Master Chief's back can muster. Still, the ring provides. Enjoy.
