The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind | A Meeting With Royalty
#elderscrolls #nocommentary #letsplay
With nothing left to do in the Dwemer ruins I ran back to Teinius who was standing next to the king. I spoke with the king and he apologized for the misunderstanding... This man tried to murder me because he thought I was a threat to his monarchy. I now know who tried to kill me when I had little to no fame back in Vvardenfell. This man, I will have my revenge someday, but for now, I must play nice. Scratch his back for a little while then stab him when the time is right.
Right now he wants me to seek out information regarding an attempt on his life. So I asked his informant and the target was Barenziah! I returned to the king with the update of the situation and he asked me to station myself outside the queen's room. Since there was still daylight I went to help the people some more. Some tasks were mundane while others took a shocking twist. In the end, I made it out with an artifact that I'd never heard of before but so normal that it could have easily been mistaken for any other weapon.
I returned to my station just in time, the lights went out and the assassins crept in. My position was given away but I fought off three assassins. The king was pleased that I was able to save his mother and he had another idea in mind. He wants me to fight his champion on the following day. Meaning I have to spend more time doing something just to pass the time... I could rest or sleep, but I feel that to be a complete waste of time. It's similar to using traveling such as silt striders or boats. Sure, they are convenient but you do miss out on potentially getting stronger if you just walked the path yourself.
