The shrine belonged to Molag Bal and his request from me was to eliminate a daedroth that has stopped causing mayhem for the Daedric Prince. This Daedroth has locked themselves in a cave called Kora-Dur and so I left to seek out this creature. The cave wasn't too far away but I did have a hard time navigating through it as I found myself running in circles. I eventually found the Daedroth and his companions and slew them. It was only then that I thought about it.

Molag Bal claimed this creature locked itself in a cave so as to not cause mayhem. Yet I came in and eliminated him so that this Daedric Prince could find a new champion that could do its bidding. Upon my return, Molag Bal bestowed me the Mace of Molag Bal. A mace that doesn't cause too much bodily damage but makes up for it as it drains both magic and physical strength from its victims. The Goldbrand is proving to be difficult to topped by any other weapons.

I heard of another rumor regarding a hidden shrine somewhere in Vivec. This shrine has close ties to the Morag Tong and I felt compelled to find it. It took some time but I found the hideout of the Morag Tong sect in Vivec. The shrine was in the shape of one of those alters that you would see in the Imperial Cult when you make an offering to be healed of your afflictions. Maphala is the Daedric Prince this faction worships and rather than summon the prince myself there seems to be someone who speaks for them.

They asked me to eliminate a companion of theirs and they happen to live in Balmora. This organization usually gives a writ to accomplish these tasks as to avoid trouble with the authorities, but in this case, they gave me some herbs that would kill the target silently. I went to Blamora and put the herbs in his stew. At least he will have a final meal before he meets his demise. There are many others that aren't given the chance to have such a thing.

My reward for this quest was the Ring of Khajiit. A less-than-stellar ring that increases one's speed while making them completely invisible. It's a terrifying thought to think that there could be someone rushing you and you won't be able to see them until after they make the first strike. Either way, it was not for me and I went to the other shrine in Vivec. I had visited this shrine before but never tried to summon the Madgod, Sheogorath. His task was to have me travel to the northern point of Vvardenfell and find the Fork of Horripilation.
