I arrived in Vivec to seek answers for my current quest from a Daedric prince. Oreyn Bearclaw is a family well-known in Vvardenfell. This is a family that seemingly produces a hero with every generation and the current one is here on the island. His last known location is Gnaar Mok so I did little preparation and headed there to see this "hero" in person. I arrived on the scene where he had slain two bull netch.

I sensed very little power emanating from Farvyn but his two bodyguards seemed to be a force to be reckoned with. I confronted Farvyn and he admitted that the legacy was false and that all he was doing was enjoying the benefits of a famous story. I slew him and fought off his bodyguards. Since I borrowed the Necromancers Amulet, I hardly take any damage thanks to its restorative effect but these two managed to deal some damage to me! After taking to to recuperate I made my way back to Malacath and he awarded me with the Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw. A most powerful helm that is able to grant me immense endurance and help with my agility.

I heard of yet another rumor regarding the shrine of a most dangerous Daedric Prince. In the shrine of Yasammidian, there is a group of cultists who worship Mehrunes Dagon. I summoned the prince and he asked if I would like to prove my worth to him. I agreed and he sent me to find a dagger of his that had gone unused in the Alas tomb. I set out to find this weapon and it was a bit of a trip to get there. Once I had found the tomb I fought through all the undead that was protecting this place and saw that the skeleton holding the dagger had rusted. I recall that some artifacts simply disappear for some users and I had to wonder why this one didn't do so.

Either way, I took what I thought was the dagger and made my back to the shrine and Mehrune Dagon restored the dagger back to its former glory! This was a dangerous dagger, one fit for an assassin. It is able to disintegrate armor and leaves a poison on its victim. If the victim has a resistance to poison in general, this blade makes it so that you'll have a weakness to it with every strike. A fearsome weapon indeed, though the Goldbrand seems to suit my needs to combat anyway. The latest rumor I heard is located in another Daedric shrine. I'm not sure whose shrine it is but when I make it there, I hope I can retrieve another powerful artifact.
