I remained in the sewers, clearing out all undead and other creatures that may lurk about. I made it to the alter where I made one more sweep to ensure that the area was cleared. I returned to the Temple and took Urvel to the shrine where he performed his duties. With my escort mission done, I ran back to Gavas and he thanked me for my work.

Fedris had more work in service for the lady. I'm supposed to collect the Mazed Band. An artifact I've never heard of but if Almalexia wants then it must be powerful. Of course, this meant that I needed to return to the sewers to search for this band. I would eventually find the creator of the ring, Barlizar who did not want the ring out and about. This ring has caught my interest now, the creator turned himself into a lich in order to guard this ring. I must know its powers.

I removed the ring from the lich and held it... I did not know how to use it. These sorts of things come naturally to me or I read about in books yet I know not what to do with this ring. Perhaps its nature will show itself in time so I went back to the Temple and instead of having to report to the priest, he tells me that Almalexia herself is requesting my presence. I entered within her chambers and it was an odd-skinned woman surrounded by many in unique armor.

She knew of my name and even wondered if I was to be called something else, for now, her interests lay within whether I retrieved the ring or not. I gave her the ring and she informed me that it's lost its charge but she would fill it up with her own magic. I was sent away with nothing to do so I walked around seeing if the people needed assistance. Much time had passed and I was beginning to wonder if I was truly needed here at all. I still had no leads as to who my assassin could be.

I heard screams in the distance along with mechanical sounds that reminded me of the Dwemer. I ran to the Plaza only to find these amalgamations of flesh and steel. These creatures were fierce and charged at anyone who came their way. When the first wave ended, a royal guard asked me to report to Teinius with haste. I did so and he asked me to investigate the matter further by entering the hole these creatures made and see what I could learn.

I came across a Dwemer ruin and to my surprise more fabricants as they are called. The fabricants and the Dwmer machines are fighting against each other. They see me as an enemy all the same so I took them all out. This had to have been one of the largest Dwemer ruins I had ever seen thus far. I explored as much as I could and I encountered some odd contraptions that I didn't know of. Some books depict these to be some sort of pack of explosives that I could set a timer to. What else do these ruins have in store I will find out soon enough...
