The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind | Ebony Mail and the Ring in Darkness

Tholer sent me to Mount Assarnibibi and pray at the shrine there. Apparently, that is the birthplace of Almalexia, who is part of the Tribunal. I took a less conventional way to get there but I made it all the same. The final pilgrimage for a high-ranking individual and thus I was blessed with the artifact: Ebony Mail. I read many stories when I was a child about how the mail would protect its user from magic and fire. To have it in my possession is nothing short but a boon for my journey.
I returned to Tholer and he declared me Patriarch of the Tribunal Temple in Vvardenfell. I will no doubt receive strong words about my position, but nonetheless, this is a happy occasion. I felt it appropriate to return to the Imperial Cult and spoke with the Oracle, Lalatia Varian. First, she had me swear an oath that I would hear her words and carry out her visions. Next, she spoke to me about a Ring in darkness. This was the legendary Ring of Wind, which I always thought was a misleading name for a powerful artifact.
I always thought the Ring of the Wind would boost the wearer's speed. You know, 'run like the wind'. Instead, this gives you a better reaction time to dodge, parry, or land blows better. Either way, the location of this ring would only be revealed by a Dunmer savant so I sought one out and he revealed to me that the place this ring could be is in Nammu. I found the cavern and fought my way through the bandits until I encountered a man named "Jon Hawker". He was imprisoned by these bandits and prayed to Zenithar and it would seem that he thinks I am the answer.
I gave it no thought and gave him my scroll of Divine Intervention so that he could escape peacefully. I took a ring off the leader of this group and my prize was there, the Ring of the Wind. Not to be confused with the Ring of Khajiiti. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought that I would come into possession of these outlandish artifacts. For now, I must return to Lalatia and see what the Oracle has in store for me next.
