The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind | Skull-Crusher
#letsplay #nocommentary #elderscrolls
Our journey was short but I escorted the Argonian to the mission and now he is safe. As I left I couldn't shake the feeling that despite my good efforts I was bound to make another mistake. No matter how hard to try to redeem myself, I will always be flawed and bring harm to others. That's what's part of being human I suppose. To dwell any longer on these thoughts and past events I should focus on what's ahead of me and keep going.
Lalatia once again praised my efforts once again and told me of a scroll that I should secure. This scroll holds a power so fierce that putting it in the hands of the wicked could spell doom for any target. along with that, I am tasked to avenge a fellow layman who fell to the hands of Carecalmo. I am to find the scroll and additionally take down this dangerous mage. This would be a simple seek-and-destroy mission.
I made my way to the shrine and severely underestimated my opponent. I should have carried the Ebony Mail as I am frail to magic attacks. Using the Cameleon though I was able to recuperate enough to take down this strong foe. I found the scroll and scurried back to Lalatia who had one final task for me. Finding the legendary Skull -Crusher. Apparently, it is in a Daedric ruin but the entrance is sealed. I checked a nearby burial ground to see if there was any hope of a cave-in of some kind.
Nine Divines be praised, there was a connection! I explored these ruins until I found a forge over a pit of lava and floating above me was the ultimate hammer: The Skull-Crusher! Using the hammer removes 15 lbs of my load but otherwise leaving it there unused will weigh 15 lbs. I left with the artifact and made my way back to see what parting words Lalatia had for me.
