In this episode of let's Play Oxygen Not Included Agricultural Upgrade, we notice that the base - particularly the bedroom - has been filling up with suffocating hydrogen. It's time to Do Something!
To extract it from the air, we set up a new room at the top of the colony where the hydrogen will float up to. Like we did for the natural gas room, we pump the gas out of the room, filter out the hydrogen and send it to a new hydrogen generator power station.
The new power will feed into our electricity grid, but that grid is starting to carry too much current, and we need to find a solution! We wonder if we can lay insulated cable, but with it unable to be laid through tiles, we decide instead to split the grid into two. Will it work?
Also in let's Play Oxygen Not Included Agricultural Upgrade episode 5, we lay blame for the hydrogen squarely at the door of the electrolyzer, we have a minor food problem, we reject our first duplicants and we complete the entire research tree!
