Carrying on from the last episode (but on a different map), we have a small base ready, but we need to expand it with new equipment and, more importantly, actual walls! So we see how to unlock building materials such as walls in this let's play Planet Nomads gameplay video, building a nice little place by the sea.

We explore to find basic aluminium, carbon and silicon ores from nodes, rocks and seams, then build ourselves a medium 3d printer to unlock lots of important components for creating stuff. We also construct an upgraded MultiTool Mk 2 to speed up mining.

Next we go exploring for rarer materials such as silver - we head north across our world, which turns out to be on an island surrounded by a sea! We swim the waters to find a new region, which turns into a desert biome full of new types of plants and, more importantly, new ores. We hunt for them and soon find aluminium and cobolt in abundance. But will they be of any use?
