Our new RimWorld megabase is coming along quite well, as we switch to building with marble where we can to ensure that any fires do not spread too far. We decide to separate out our production from our joy, building a smart new marble dining room separate from the rest of the colony. Except we're not counting on a heatwave, which makes construction - and even getting across the colony - really tough.

Soon our colonists are fainting from heatstroke. Probably a good time to whip up some air conditioning, except the river means we can't lay the power lines to reach our bedrooms!

We're also notified about one of the new RimWorld alpha 17 quests, as we're asked to go on the road to clear out a bandit's camp nearby on the world map. But, er, might be a little tricky with only two guns!
