*Warning! - Heavy spoilers ahead! You have been warned.*

The Last Promise was created by Blazer and is a hack for Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. This hack is a full length adventure filled with danger, some new items & classes as well as music, and a very well balanced difficulty curve.

You can head to the following site to keep up with the latest news regarding the hack and download the latest version of it:

ROM should be easy enough to find on your own.

The final battle with a very special someone. Who is that you ask? You'll just have to watch to find out this person's name!

You will need your best attackers for this one. Axe users will want to grab a Swordslayer or Swordreaver for themselves to give them an edge. Spear users can use weapons like Sylmeria or Leviathan. Sword users should use Silver Swords unless your name is Kelik. In that case, use Arectaris.

As for healers, anyone capable of using Physic or Fortify, ideally both, should come along too. At least two healers minimum if you can spare it. Otherwise, Anakin can give your main healer another turn for a double dose of Fortify if needed. Bonus if you have access to Hammerne to repair the Fortify staff.

The boss has extremely massive stats. Said boss has so much speed that it will be able to double anyone except Swordmasters with capped speed or Kelik equipped with Arectaris.

The boss's weapon is Raikiri. No Mt stat on it, but because of the very high base stats, that is of little concern to the boss.

Also of note is that crit rate. Unless you have supports that grant critical resistance, you're looking at a 5% base chance to be critted at 30 luck. Doesn't seem like much, but when said boss can double 95% of your units, that means two chances per combat round to take a crit.

Also, 100 avoid. Hope your units can strike true & hard because...boss regens 24 hp at the start of each enemy phase. Said boss has 120 hp. You have to keep the assault on the boss going strong so you don't extend the battle time anymore than you need to.

All units get some kind of final dialogue with the boss. Pretty nice touch I have to say.

Also nice is taking out the boss on my first phase I actually started attacking it. Nothing wrong with that...or the fact Captain Rex got the last blow.

At the end, you get to see two things...the number of turns it took me to complete each chapter and the fact you get Secret #7 at the end of the credits. This would also be the point you can save your game and go right into the post game content if you wish.

Hopefully this playthrough gave you some help if you were struggling in places.

Until next time!
