Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

If you'd like to play this game, the full installer can be found here:

One more item to grab here, but first, a chat with little Sandler and his mother. Sandler mentions the Earth Cave and having to go through a dark cave to escape it. He says that if you travel there yourself, you should not follow the lights as there's something nasty along that path. That of course means I'm going to do just that when I eventually visit that place.

As for his mother, she mentions Sandler going off to visit Gigi in East Village. This is strange because the bridge leading there was closed due to a convict being on the loose. How could he be getting to East Village then? If you remember your KF1US knowledge well enough, then perhaps there's a way nearby.

For now though, I'm heading north back to that fork from the last video and continuing north. At a fork going west or east with another path heading north, go east to a four way intersection, then head north.

You'll see me burn my Golden Water before a lone Spider. There's a good reason for this which I'll explain at the end, but for now, follow the path until you come to a door. Inside is a jail cell with a man in it. Use your Jail Key to get into his cell and talk to him. Talking with him will reveal he is that James that certain prince in a greedy mayor's house wanted us to locate.

He tells his story about how he was helping a group of people relay some stolen treasure from Verdite. His ship gets taken by another ship, it disappears into the mist, and the survivors get saved by a fisherman. They were then en route to the Southern Village when James was arrested for piracy.

James then mentions about a pirate in the cell next to his. Said pirate gave him a key before he was taken off to be hanged. James hands this key to you. It's the aptly named Pirate's Key. This will unlock several things in the West Coast area which means I'll be heading there next time.

Before I do that, I return to the gold fountain to fill my flasks and toss my Star Key into the pedestal near that lovely mayor's village, then save up.

But of course, you want to know about that Spider I said I burned my Golden Water on before engaging, right? I tossed in a little bonus clip at the end of the video to answer that question.

Well, let's just say I was not expecting its ranged shot to completely wipe out the 59 hp I had in a single strike, that's for damn sure.
