~~Just two seconds from the perfect run, rip.~~

If you care about the lore notes, the first play through has them all and allows time for reading. You can always pause though in case you want to read them here.

Unfortunately, her damaged outfits don't appear in the main levels cut-scenes, except for one particular set of scenes later on. Also unfortunately, you don't really see Michel's "death" in the level. To avoid rescuing her, you must not got to the garage area. There are no items or anything required down that road and the garage so it's purely optional.

The real question is, if this is Eriko's second trip to Illbleed, why are her friends there after being told and agreeing to not go? You could argue that they did come back with her and now they all have to die to obtain the true end, (spoilers not the correct option), or that these are robots in place of them, or lastly, use a little bit of roleplay knowledge, they don't exist in this second trip. Real answer is that the devs didn't have the time to remove them for a second/true end playthrough, but the answer most come to agree with is that they are still enjoying the money from the first trip to Illbleed and are not there, realistically, during the return trip by Eriko. (Just act like they are not there for the true end run and any cut-scenes from them are just Eriko remembering what happened.

Illbleed (イ\ルブリード) is a Survival-Horror video game developed and published by Crazy Games (formerly known as Climax Graphics) in Japan (but published by AIA in the US) for the Sega Dreamcast. It was released in Japan on March 29, 2001 and later in North America on April 16, 2001. Despite being financially unsuccessful, this game received a worldwide cult following for its notable combination of nonlinear gameplay elements (e.g. trap detection) and bizarre B-movie style comedy horror theme, dialogue and voice acting. Illbleed with be 20 years old on March 29 as that's the release date for in Japan, or April 16 for the United States. Those with a keen sense of hearing might recognize a handful of familiar voices, as a decent chunk of the case did/would go onto doing the voices for Sonic the Hedgehog. The only other game that Crazy Games published which was Blue Stinger back in 1999 (which I have an itch to play after Illbleed). AIA's other published include Dokapon: Monster Hunter for the GBA in 2003 and the latest being Monster! Bass Fishing for the GBA in 2004 and both according to my research are both defunct.Illbleed doesn't focus much on combat vs other games of this genre, such as Resident Evil, however more on the finding and neutralizing traps and finding items to help survive. Not all fights are winnable or even required, as you can escape using the ladder if you mash the B button enough, (having the speed ladder helps). The game got an average 6ish review which nowadays means the game is garbage (since it isn't a 9), but back then, the game was a solid addition to those who enjoy horror (B-horror specifically), and exploration. This game also has multiple endings and requires multiple play-throughs to do such.
