The Paradox gets a random starter gun, a random ammo-eating gun, and a random non-gun item. He/she/it can even spawn with stuff that hasn't yet been unlocked. Finally, the Paradox doesn't even have a past. How hard can this be?

Despite not having a "past" per se, the Paradox's mission is to beat the Dragun, then go to Bullet Hell, the secret 6th level, and beat the real final boss of the game. This is normally not easy.

I tried to cheese this run by forcing Ser Junkan to appear. When Junkan is not unlocked, every piece of junk has a 20% chance to be Junkan. But after unlocking him (which you do by killing a level boss with him) , that probability goes down to 1%, so forcing Junkan is a "once-per-save-file" kind of thing. Unfortunately, I only got 2 pieces of junk, which is woefully short of the 6 pieces that are needed to activate his "full HP restore on player death" ability.

I'm not sure how much of an excuse that is, considering the hilariously overpowered Crutch + Scattershot + VertebreAK + Relodestone + Metronome combo I ended up with.

If you want an easier time, combine Junkan-forcing with a Clone run.
