Thief Lupin 2 is back with twice the fun and twice the adventure, you can play the game as Lupin or one of the other characters available, solving puzzles, dodging traps and of course stealing the treasure, the game features 5 uniquely designed puzzle filled worlds where you need to face off against a multitude of enemies such as vampires, puffer fish and some other monstrosities to steal or retrieve the most valuable artifacts the world has ever known, it's not going to be easy though as the path to the artifacts are laden with an assortment of traps and other hazards, besides the usual dangers that you will encounter in the levels, the game also has a total of 13 boss fights, each one of them very powerful and designed to test your skills, like the Kraken, Dracula and many more, no worries though as Lupin and the other playable characters have their own unique set of skills to help you out in achieving your goals, that's besides the 90 special items and powerups available to give you a breather when the going gets tough...so are you up to the challenge?, play the game and find out if you have what it takes to be the greatest thief the world has ever known.
Graphics and Sound
Thief Lupin 2 has stunning graphics, compared to the first release, this one has cooler visuals when it comes to designs and presentations, the characters are kinda cute here, and each one of them pretty and unique in their own rights, environments are pretty too, the structures are more detailed and have better designs, not to mention they have finer textures, colors are also cool, they look sharp and vivid all throughout the game, animations are also smooth, character movements are very nice and quite fluid, music and sounds are quite awesome, music is cool and sound effects are abundant...there's never a dull moment in the game so to speak, special effects are great too, although nothing innovative or fabulous, this one's definitely better than the first release, overall, Thief Lupin 2 has way better graphics and presentations compared to the first one.
Gameplay
Thief Lupin 2 is a puzzle based game with element of combat, you will not only solve puzzles here but also battle enemies and evade traps and other obstacles, the game as mentioned earlier features different characters with different abilities, all of them very effective and quite helpful, puzzles abound in the game, it starts out very simple and slowly progresses to the more complex types, don't worry though as there are a lot of cool stuff available in the game for you to use in the 150 levels the game has to offer, indeed, it's going to be an adventure of a lifetime, one that will take you to different parts of the world and steal different kinds of treasure and artifacts.
