From 2006 until 2015, I created video content for Horizon Hobby related to RC Cars, Trucks, Boats, Planes, Drones, and even occasionally model trains. In 2015, my role changed and I was no longer creating videos for Horizon, which is actually how and why this channel started. In 2019 I left the company altogether, but have continued my involvement in RC. Well, after several years and people asking I am making it official as I am launching RoXolid RC in 2025 and I am excited that Team Associated (AKA Associated Electrics) has stepped up to help us launch our new endeavor with their MT12+ Ready-To-Run RC Truck that is a great way to get started in RC. Let's take a closer look.

What Is an RTR?
Generally speaking an RTR, or Ready-To-Run comes out of the box completely assembled for you, the body comes pre-painted, and all of the electronics are installed. MOST RTRs also include battery packs and chargers, but this isn't always the case. For the MT12+, however, it is as it is ready for you to have fun right out of the box.

MT12+
@TeamAssociatedRC has spent decades perfecting National Championship and World Championship-winning cars and trucks. From the original gold tub RC10 and RC10T stadium truck, the TC3 Touring Car, the RC10L and RC12L, and more, they know how to win. They have taken that expertise and applied it to beginner-friendly models that look great and feature great performance right from the box. The MT12+ platform is part rock crawler, part scaler, and part monster truck, but it's all fun.

Its steel ladder frame chassis forms the sturdy foundation for epic car-crushing endeavors. With a 4-link suspension, threaded shocks, and grippy rubber tires, this monster truck is ready to conquer any terrain – be it soaring over cars or tearing through dirt and mud. And with its compact 3-gear transmission, low-friction slider-type drive shafts, steel CVA axles, and metal-shield ball bearings, this little giant delivers power and performance like no other.

We're working on several videos for the new channel, which will go live both on YouTube and Rumble. I will have links to subscribe soon, and content will kickoff in January 2025!
