Free racing/rallying/stunts game from https://sailboatstudios.itch.io/tractioncontrol, this one has "Trailblazer" stages that are essentially rally stages, to set the best time, but whilst doing so you can accrue boost by drifting/jumping/spinning through the air... even grinding sideways down logs, skateboard-style!
Their itch.io page best describes it "Traction Control is a downhill exploration racer where only some of the laws of physics apply. Drift, jump, flip, boost, roll, and grind in a skate-park for cars."
There's a smattering of cars (with more colours, etc, as unlockables), and the aim is to get to the end as fast as possible. Some cars handle better, some cars skid more.
Currently the game has 4 areas, with 3 having rally-style Trailblazer routes. But as this game is in-development things might change in future!
Graphically it uses a cel-shaded approach, with cartoon-like scenery and dirt that flies around as little cubes (that remain, littering the track, during a run). Sound is okay (the birds are a bit annoying) but there is a varied radio feature to play music whilst driving.
This is one of those games you'll either gel with, or get frustrated by. As it's free, give it a go!
