(This level looks like a remake of the Ast. City level in Episode 2, though you won't always get to play that one. But beating up friendly rebels makes no sense now. Maybe something to do with the time&space traveling of the Stargate, or just Gameplay And Story Segregation)

The Stargate has been closed by Microsol. Trent is left on his own, except for his clue to head to Camanis to be equipped with weapons specifically designed to destroy the Microsol fleet. On his way there, he stops by a heavily fortified Microsol base, a ridiculously well fortified one.
Trent doesn't attempt to engage the Microsol fleet on his own, at least not before Camanis. But when he gets the chance to cause so much damage to Microsol by attacking a smaller fleet that is away from the main one, he goes for it. Normally he would skip this battle due to the emergency of the situation, but since it's on the way to Camanis and he desperately needs to weaken Microsol, he jumps in the fray by his own.
He sends a powerful message that he is not escaping anymore. He is fighting with all his might, and is coming for the Fleet as soon as he is equipped to annihilate it.

Ast. City is one of the two possible secret levels found on Stargate. The other one is Sawblades.

I like Ast. City more, but it may be harder. Not sure though ; I didn't try Sawblades on Engage Mode yet.

Don't underestimate this level. See my personal adventure at the end of the description.

This level has random rocks falling, like all Asteroid-themed levels. Add to that many, many towers, and it becomes useful to memorize the level. You have no choice but to destroy the towers, most of the time. Otherwise you'll have too much crap to dodge.
There's also an UTTERLY RIDICULOUS number of bosses in this level. They are variations of the Asteroid 1 and Asteroid 2 bosses. They are powerful and enduring, but with Invulnerability and a decent weapon level, you can take them out.
The difficulty is the sheer number of turrets and bosses. Invulnerability isn't as easy to use ad it appears ; try it at the wrong time and you get smacked while doing it.

Advice : Whenever you see many towers at once, destroy them. These parts are very dangerous. Particularly when bosses appear right after.

Quite an enjoyable level when you're powerful, as the havoc you can wreak is impressive.

Difficulty : 8.5/10
Number of attempts : 22

This level took me 22 damn tries to finish without dying a single time, but what frustrates me is that about 18 deaths were remarkably stupid.

As with all Asteroid-themed levels, you've got RANDOM rocks falling down, and WAY TOO OFTEN, a rock hit me while I was inputting the Invulnerability buttons. The smallest possible rock will drain your shields completely.
Also, I played late at night and was tired. Don't do that.
