Here we have a frame rate comparison between the PS3 version and the PS4 version of Uncharted 2. Note that the Playstation 4 version footage is from the demo version of the game, not the final release. The Playstation 4 version was tested with Object and Camera motion blur enabled.
The Playstation 4 version of Uncharted 2 targets 60fps compared with the Playstation 3 version that targeted 30fps. Both versions run with vsync engaged. The Playstation 4 version consistently hits its target frame rate of 60fps, but frame rate dips into as low as the mid fifties can occur during very taxing scenes. The Playstation 3 version dips below its 30fps target more often than the PS4 version dips below its target frame rate, but it still hands in a relatively decent level of performance for the most part. The frame pacing issues seen in the PS3 version don't seem to appear in the PS4 version.
These target frame rates are the same for the prerendered cutscenes used in both versions of the game.
The Playstation 3 version of Uncharted 2 runs at a native resolution of 1280x720 and the Playsation 4 version runs at a native resolution of 1920x1080.
As always, please watch in HD (preferably 1080p) and 60fps for the best viewing experience.
