Here we have some performance analysis footage of the Rainbow Six Siege Beta on Playstation 4. The captured footage used for analysation was from version 1.02 of the beta and exclusively from the PVP multiplayer mode. Please not that this is a beta version of Rainbow Six Siege and its performance is not necessarily representative of the final product.

The Playstation 4 version like the Xbox One version has a target frame rate of 60 frames per second and also uses an adaptive vsync solution. Tearing seems to be confined to roughly the top 5th of the frame which makes it difficult to notice during gameplay.

The game spends a lot of time at its target 60fps mark, but heavy action and transparent effects can bring this down. During these dips the frame rate generally keeps to the fifties, but can drop into the high forties occasionally.

The large random frame rate drops seen in the Xbox One version don't seem to be present here.

The Playtation 4 version of the Rainbox Six Siege beta runs at a native resolution of 1920x1080.

As always, please watch in HD (preferably 1080p) and 60fps for the best viewing experience.
