3 Automata uploads in one day!? Well, I would've felt dirty breaking this story up into 2 or 3 days, and I didn't wanna put it all together in one long text adventure video, so this gives people some time in between. Y'know, to rest their eyes and whatnot?

Here we have the conclusion to the events of the Pearl Harbor Descent. We find out why Anemone had to kill No.21. We find out what happened to the rest of A2's squad. And we find out about the true nature of the mission itself.

Command sent them on that mission just to gather data for future models. They didn't care at all about the experimental squadron. That's all they were - an experiment. They were disposable. They probably planned for them all to die in that battle, which is why they didn't send reinforcements. When they found out A2 survived, they sent out YoRHa Type-E to execute her. That means all of the "pursuit" YoRHa that the Commander said A2 had killed... they were Type-E who were chasing A2 in order to take her out.

She was fighting and killing just to stay alive, after she'd been used as basically a disposable puppet. I can't blame her for her feelings towards Command.

It makes me feel so bad for A2. We never got to see what she was like before the incident. I can imagine that, after realizing what Command had done, she was as furious with them as 9S is furious with her. I mean, she still had vengeance sworn on YoRHa, after all.

Another thing I got from this was the trophy for having 80% of all archives obtained, so that's a positive thing about this!

And perhaps the machines of Pascal's village can help mend A2's broken heart, even if just a little bit more.
