Union 8 Bit Remix - SSSS. Gridman (OxT)
still haven't seen this show, still probably won't watch it tbqh. killer song, though.
fuck's sake, i'm sick as a dog right now. been so since about yesterday afternoon. idfk what to talk about, so that means it's random topic generator time:
"if you opened a business, what kind of business would it be?"
i actually don't think that i've ever talked about this, but in an ideal world, i would love to own an independent bookstore. logistics aside, i think it would be fun. if i ever won the lottery, i would immediately start looking at commercial residences in areas highly populated with hipsters around here. it might also be profitable to double the utility of the place as an art supplies store, too, or like, a stage and seating area that can be rented out for readings, musicians, comedy, or whatever the fuck can get more money in my pockets at the end of the day. realistically, physical book stores will be getting harder and harder to sustain as time goes on, which kind of necessitates that there would be some other form(s) of appeal to the average schmuck coming in. it would be decently safe, too, since criminals never really touch bookstores - they're more interested in like, i dunno, shoes or tekken or whatever. they should actually just set up anti-criminal programs that just consist of a massive room in the projects with a million street fighter and tekken stations set up and that would shoot crime rates right on down.
anyways, anyways, bookstore. yeah, man. chain bookstores are really gay and every time i go to indigo it feels like inhabiting the physical embodiment of being held down and sodomized. you can hear the sounds of gay sex reverberating along the high rafters, dude. bunch of total slop literature with a few things that are actually worth reading here and there. i guess that kind of shit is what sells, but if you know me, mister internet stranger, you'd best know that i get really fucking anal about integrity and dignity and it would feel like a sacrifice to my own virtues to open a bookstore only to stock complete shit that sucks total dick. but, if (and because) it is necessary to get some revenue, stocking shit that i don't like as a matter of principle would need to be done. idfk, i'm not a businessman, but that sounds right, right? i dunno, i just think it would be nice. i'm not the kind of guy enjoys wageslave positions because i do them with robotic levels of consistency and dedication. the first job that i ever had was one where we were allowed to check for breaks by our own discretion so long as we clocked whatever shit, but i never did. not once. i would always be the asshole finding other tasks to do because i would finish everything that was under my responsibility hours before i could leave. i dunno, it was just kind of lame. owning and working at a bookstore would be different, though. being able to help people find shit and talk about stuff that i am pretty knowledgeable about would be a grand ol time.
everyone needs to get their food and give their sheckels out and away to the government, so it's fun to hypothesize about how one could achieve such in a way that is pleasing to them. lord know you need to be making good money these days when beef is fucking thirteen dollars.
i complain about the canadian dollar too much, lol.
so yeah, that's the show for today. i think at some point down the line i'll do another video game track. it has been so damn long since i've transcribed a vidja song,, lmao. i might do the japanese theme from rising zan at some point, but technically, that is closely related to ching chong cartoons as it was sang by hironobu kageyama. the american theme for rz is pretty fun, too, but it might be too easy for me to bother transcribing.
have a wonderful day, gentlemen. god bless.
