Now some things are getting better since we arrived in the plains, it's time to continue our exploration of that area so we can find more of its resources. And in particular flax and barley.

Fortunately there's a village nearby and quite often they do have one or both of these items.
And a whole load of black metal as well, although i can't take that through portals, which means I need to boat it out at some point. While taking that to a central point, I discovered the Vegvisir, showing me where to find Yagluth. Which also means I don't have to look for that altar as much as I usually do.

The only downside, there are growths in the Plains and while I can handle a few, five was a bit too many. Which led to another death - I lost count by now - leading to a deathrun, which led to another death because I also had a Fuling at my tail. The only good news in that was that the Fuling got killed, making the 2nd run a bit easier.
But I start to believe that it may be wiser if I take things a bit more slow once in a while....
