This is a play-through using unused character "Early" Akira / Takeru in the arcade version of Virtua Fighter 1. Read on below for more information...

"Early Akira" or Takeru is an unused character in the game, which obviously makes him an unplayable character.

He has all of the 'template Virtua Fighter character' basic moves, but he is slightly limited when it comes to his "own" moves... they most likely used Jacky to make his template, as alt-Akira does have some of his moves, such as the back-flip, spin-kicks, somersault kicks, and back-fists. Here are the other information on him:

---- It appears that this may have been an earlier design of Akira, before they went with the karate outfit. Or this could've been an alternative outfit.

---- There is also a chance that he may have been a completely different character altogether, as his name appears as 'TAKERU' on the Time ranking screen (if you got to enter your name after you complete the game).

---- His full name is 'Akira Ryuzaki' as his profile shows on the character select screen. Other info can be found on this profile as well.

---- He does not have any throws.

---- He has an alternate 2P costume/colour.

---- Some of his winning camera angles show his back/head close up... this is probably wrong.

---- As mentioned earlier, his name appears as 'TAKERU' on the Time ranking screen.

---- A young Kenshiro from FOTNS or a younger Jin Kazama?

It is sometimes amazing on what can be found in the data of video games. So more than 2 decades later (at this time of writing), we get to see some new characters in Virtua Fighter 1.
