Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (Gameplay #4) - How to Marine-ate A Demon Lord [ENDING]
I have now finished Space Marine and the game was quite nice, all things considered. I really liked the combat system despite some unfortunate balance issues during the last level or so, when the intentional lack of a proper cover system doesn't make much sense in the context of the challenges being presented to the player. More significant problems include rudimentary level design which doesn't quite live up to current standards for third-person action games and a formulaic plot being weighed down by having to adhere to a peculiar IP not known for producing relatable characters with motivations normal humans can appreciate. On balance the recently finished Red Faction: Armageddon was slightly better (and Platium Games' Vanquish, another third-person game I'm currently playing, is a more sophisticated and well-designed game than both these two Western titles combined), but I wouldn't say no to a Space Marine 2 if Relic gets to make it...
