“PLAYSTATION 5 VERSION 7.00 TO INCLUDE DISCORD AND CLOUD STREAMING FOR PS5 GAMES. Insider Gaming sources have provided information on what to expect with the upcoming PlayStation 5 7.00 update scheduled for March.
The update, currently scheduled for March 8, 2023 (as revealed by myself in August 2022) will include the full Discord integration that was revealed in 2021. In addition to the Discord integration, sources have revealed that PlayStation 5 games will also be streamable on the PlayStation 5 via cloud streaming (to save that all-important drive space). It was said that this feature will be included in the PlayStation Plus Premium Tier. The feature, under the project name “Cronus” has been in development and testing for a number of months, sources revealed. Insider Gaming also understands that the public Beta for the Playstation 5 7.00 update will start in the coming days, with the completion date ending on January 30. However, sources said that beta testers will not be able to use the discord integration functionality during this Beta.”

In case you missed it when it was first announced, the DualSense Edge is Sony's new premium controller that combines a high-quality design with a surprising amount of customization. This level of personalization is easy to play around with, and you can swap out the analog stick modules, stick caps, and more so that you can set up the device to suit your specific gaming needs.”

“PSN Booting Players Mid Game to Accept New Terms & Conditions, Freezing Consoles. Following today’s PS5 system software update, PSN randomly started signing players out to accept new terms and conditions. This normally wouldn’t be an issue, but this time, players are being booted mid game to accept the new T&C, causing some consoles to become unstable. There’s an added headache for those who are playing online games, especially competitive modes, as they’re being knocked offline. If you’re worried about your PS4 or PS5 freezing mid game, simply manually sign out when you boot up your console. You’ll be prompted to accept the new terms and conditions upon signing in again. Those with access to the PS App will automatically find themselves signed out when they boot up the app. Upon signing in again, players will have to accept the new T&C and then select/confirm their primary console again. Doing so will eliminate the need to go through this process on the console.”
