What's Wrong When GAMES can't Scale?
Oh Gosh! This isn't everyone's problem! Not everyone can afford HiDPI Displays, expensive 4K panel on laptops or the provoking brags of latest & greatest MacBook Pro's Pro-MOTION, mini-LED, superb "Retina" display.
After all, this is a Paradox that well-to-do folks **SHOULD NOT** have to play good old games. They buy the latest & greatest PC games outright, slam several "grands" on Gaming PCs with latest Intel Alderlake Core i9-12900K & RTX 3090 without a wink, why even bother with DOSBox &/or QEMU? There is probably just a tiny 1% odd for those who would be doing well financially and at the same time enjoying Good OLD Games.
And for those 1% odd who donated to my project, I shout out a big "THANK YOU" in supporting qemu-3dfx. This is the BEST way to show appreciation for the hard work developers had put in to restore Good OLD Games in "pristine condition", preserved in FOSS & cross-architecture portable emulators that would survive 32-bit software apocalypse and beyond Intel/AMD x86 dominance. No doubt that Intel/AMD x86 remain the BEST for PC emulation due to the maturity of Virtualization, let's hope the future will bring forth breakthroughs that turn the table with "Foreign Architecture" Virtualization.
No offense, hope the audience enjoy a good laughs in the END...😜
